NEW COVID PROCEDURES at HOD

CLEANING PROCEDURES

  • All dancers will be required to wear masks. 

  • Dancers must either wash their hands or use hand sanitizer before each class.

  • All dance classes will end 5 minutes before the hour to allow for safe transitions and cleaning time.

  • All surfaces will be wiped down between dance class.

  • Mats and ballet bars will only be used for assigned classes and will be sanitized after each use.

  • Bathrooms will be a available but dancers are highly encouraged to use at home before coming to dance.


DROP OFF AND PICK UP PROCEDURES

  • ROOM A- All classes in Room A will have curbside drop off and pick up only from side street door.
    We ask all parents to wait in their cars instead of our Lobby.

  • ROOM B- TINY and MINI combo class parents are welcome to walk in and drop their kids at the classroom door. You will be asked to wait in your car or come back for pick up.

  • Our store will be accessible one parent at a time.

  • Live streaming will be available for any enrolled dancer who is not able to assist at any given day.

 

SAFETY AND HEALTH PROTOCOLS

  • Waiting areas will be closed until further notice-

  • No food is allowed in the studio

  • One small dance bag is allowed with dance shoes and water bottle

  • Dance floors will be marked with distanced markers.

  • Hand sanitizer will be available in each room.

  • Any dancer who has believes to have been exposed or not feeling well is encouraged to stay home and use our streamed service and attend class electronically.

 

WHO NEEDS TO QUARANTINE?

  • People who have been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19—excluding people who have had COVID-19 within the past 3 months.

  • People who have tested positive for COVID-19 do not need to quarantine or get tested again for up to 3 months as long as they do not develop symptoms again. People who develop symptoms again within 3 months of their first bout of COVID-19 may need to be tested again if there is no other cause identified for their symptoms.

WHAT COUNTS AS CLOSE CONTACT?

  • You were within 6 feet of someone who has COVID-19 for a total of 15 minutes or more

  • You provided care at home to someone who is sick with COVID-19

  • You had direct physical contact with the person (hugged or kissed them)

  • You shared eating or drinking utensils

  • They sneezed, coughed, or somehow got respiratory droplets on you

  • Steps to take

  • Stay home for 14 days after your last contact with a person who has COVID-19

  • Watch for fever (100.4◦F), cough, shortness of breath, or other symptoms of COVID-19

  • If possible, stay away from others, especially people who are at higher risk for getting very sick from COVID-19
